Annabelle with Barrow by the Wild Rose Studio Design Team

Good morning to you all in the land of blog

Today is my day to show you some more of the gorgeous range from

This one is called

I made a birthday card, I have so many friends and family with birthdays this month it is quite mad, and I am sure you will have noticed, I am having a thing for aqua and pink at the moment, probably because I am loving colouring in with my BG copics :)

Recipe
Image - Wild Rose Studio - Annabelle with Barrow

The base layer and contrast is a lovely pink paper and I have used some aqua papers in two shades on top of this following a sketch, will see if I can find which one shortly.  I added punched butterflies in different sizes and added liquid applique for the bodies.  The nestie banner/ribbon die cut holds the Woodware sentiment and everything is finished off with those wonderful pearls from the  Hobby House

Here is a close up of the image coloured in copics

Good morning to you all in the land of blog

This one is called

I saw a lovely sketch on sketch saturday to use but then missed the challenge, but I made a thank you card

The sun is out lovely here but it does play me up when photographing my cards so sorry for the brightness, although we should not complain as it is gorgeous weather.

The base colour here is pink as is the contrast, I have used some gorgeous aqua papers my grand nestie decorative circle, some ribbon roses a nestie banner/ribbon with a Woodware sentiment and to finish off those gorgeous pearls from the  Hobby House

Here is a close up of the image coloured in copics, with a white glaze sakura pen for the parcel paper dots

Christmas Stockings with the Winter Wonderland Design Team

Good morning to you all in the land of blog

Today sees the next challenge at the

Christmas Stockings
we would like to see Christmas Creations showing stockings

We have two wonderful sponsors this week
who are offering the winner a £10 voucher

and

who are offering the winners choice of 4 of their amazing images

So here is my take on the theme but don't forget to hop over to the main challenge blog to check out the wonderful inspiration their for you.

I am trying to use up some of my card blanks from those kits you get bought :)
The base card is cream, I have added a layer of gold mirror card, then a layer of white card which has been run through the cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder.  I also ran the gold frame for the image plate through the same folder.  Ribbon, pearls and little red bell charms from stash.

Here is a couple of close ups of the image, one is to show you the whole image and the second to show you a close up of the glossy accents added to the candy canes, so difficult to photograph the shine, but think I managed it.

The image is from an unmounted sets by Joanna Sheen

As always I would like to thank all of my wonderful visitors and followers for their inspiring comments, which encourage me and allow me to hop over in return to see their gorgeous work and welcome my new followers.

Floral Hugs with the Wild Rose Studio Design Team

Good morning to you all in the land of blog

Today is my day to show you some more of the gorgeous range from

This one is called

I have not made a heart shaped easel for a long time, so decided I needed to revisit this and it works so well with the image I think :)

Recipe
Image - Wild Rose Studio - Floral Hugs

The base colour is a dark grey I added some pale pink papers on top of this and used my Go Kreate dies to create the hearts, along with some smaller dies for the sentiment.  I added a doily behind the image and then finished off with ribbon, lace, flowers and the bead work all from the  Hobby House

Here is a close up of the image coloured in copics

and a close up of the easel return and the sentiment, layered on foam pads.

Slightly AWOL but for a fabulous reason

Good morning to you all

I know my posts seem to have disappeared but I have been just a tad busy and for those that have asked to see this, here you go.

You see I had an opportunity to buy something awesome with the support of a fabulous person, you know who you are :)
I always dreamed of getting this but never in my wildest dreams did I believe I would.

Now you are wondering, so here we go, I have a rather large copic collection but it was not the complete set and was short of just a few to complete the full 358.  It has taken me a couple of years to get to this stage I can tell you, however yesterday I gave them away to a new home, where they will be loved, hugged and looked after well.  Before they went they all needed checking and refilling and tidying, so that is what I have been up to.

You see yesterday I got this - you can probably understand why I was screaming around the house and still scream inside when I spot them on my chair

 The side view

The top view

Oops screaming again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the inside view

So now I am starting to recolor my new blank copic sketch chart with all of these babies, I am going as quick as I can, as I do so want to play with them like now, but as I was so organised in my last kit, I now need to re organise the order in this ace piece of kit.

I am in heaven as you can imagine, and cannot wait now to run my next copic class :)

anyway must run obviously as need to post a card and pop to Iceland and then will be hurrying back to continue with my excitement, and although a trip to the Ally Pally would have been fabulous, this to me is sooooooooooooooo much better.
